TOPIC: DO THE WILL OF GOD AND PROSPER

The perfect will of God, our Heavenly Father towards the chosen youth this year, is for us to prosper in every area of our lives according to His pleasure. As a result of this fact, He has decided to reveal His will on every matter for us through this message, so that we can take advantage and do them in order to prosper Exodus 19:5-6, Deuteronomy 28:1. Note, every good parent would desire their children to prosper. For this reason, they send them to good schools and take them to church to learn the way of God. So, it is the will of God for you to prosper.
For better understanding of this message, we shall consider the following sub-headings
POINT 1:PRACTICAL RIGHTEOUSNESS, GOD’S WILL AND THE REASON.

| YOUTH LISTENING TO THE MESSAGE |
Every chosen youth should know the important fact, that living a practical Christian life and righteousness is God’s perfect will towards us. God don’t want any kind of unseriousness, insincerity, impunity and hypocrisy in the life of His followers. He is holy and all His ways are the ways of holiness and righteousness 1Peter 1:15-16, Isaiah 35:8. So, for any youth to talk of prosperity in all his endeavors this year, such person/youth must know that God’s will for him / her is to live a practical righteous life Exodus 19:5, Exodus 23:25. It is when you have done the will of God that He will make you to prosper in your yearly programmes Joshua 1:8, Psalm 1:1-3. God has even said it in His word “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you” Matthew 6:33. Seeking righteousness and maintaining it will bring one’s prosperity because it is the righteous ones that will flourish like a palm tree and not sinners, for it will not be well with the wicked Psalm 92:12-14, Isaiah 3:10-11. God has laid it (righteousness) as a standard and way for His blessings to come on His people. He don’t bless anyhow person who seek His blessings but He has laid conditions for His blessings Deuteronomy 28:1-9, Deuteronomy 2:9.
POINT 2: OUR EXPECTED RESPONSE AND BENEFIT.
Having seen God’s demand and His will towards you in your personal prosperity; you have to obey it and make up your mind to be a serious Christian youth who is ever ready to live practical righteous life, separate yourself from any form of ungodliness and unrighteousness Titus 2:12, 1Thessalonians 5:23. Determine to stop sinning, compromising and defiling yourself with unrighteous practices. Remember that righteousness is a key to the escalation of God’s favour, promotion, prosperity and blessings Proverb 14:34, Isaiah 3:10, Psalm 92:12-14. Make God a promise and vow to live a life that will please Him this year and be ready to pay the price that it will cost you just as Daniel, Joshua, Ruth and Esther did in their days. This is when you will begin to see God’s finger and glory around you. He will make you to prosper in your programmes. He will give you peace and rest like king Asa and multiple wisdom and knowledge like King Solomon.
For sinners, backsliders and those living in secret sins, you must cry for mercy. Repent and give your live to Jesus Christ 1John 3:8-9,1John 5:17a. One thing you have to know is this; you can’t achieve holiness by your power but by the grace God. John 8:36, Romans 6:23 Remember, it is only through Jesus Christ you can prosper. John 1:12.
