YOU CANNOT AFFORD TO MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE.

TEXT: Psalm 106:6-8 "We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly. [7] Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea. [8] Nevertheless he saved them for his name's sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known."

Are there days when you just praise God without asking him for one thing or the other? Or is every day for asking of few blessings? Many people hardly remember to appreciate God for his goodness and magnanimity in the lives of his people. So during every prayer session, it is always, "God give me, God give me. " that was one costly error which the children of Israel did as they provoked God at the red sea (psalm106: 7)

You can never afford to make the same mistake. You must learn how to praise God for he dwells in the praise of his people. Whenever they praise him, he is pleased and blesses the people. In fact, the whole essence of man's creation is that he would constitute blessing unto God (revelation 4:11)

I am not aware the particular situation you are passing through today in life. But you must remember that there are many people that have died and so, they can no longer make it here on earth. Being alive, there is still hope for you. So, you must learn to praise God no matter how things appear to be.

Sing a few praise/ worship songs. Make a Thanksgiving prayer and ask God for mercies and the forgiveness of sins. Thereafter, take the following prayer points.

Prayer points:
1. Father, I thank you for making me to be among the living, in Jesus name.
2. Lord, in any way that I have not shown enough appreciation for your goodness upon my life, have mercy upon me, in Jesus name.
3. Any mistake that I have made in life that is hunting me today, by the power in the blood of Jesus Christ let the mistake be forgiven and let the consequences cease, in Jesus name.
4. Any limitation or spiritual embargo placed upon my life/destiny, in the name of Jesus Christ I command them to be uprooted, in Jesus name
