DISCOVER THE USEFULNESS OF TEAM WORK

Text: Ecclesiastes 4:9-11 Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is a lone when he falleth, for he hath not another to help him up. Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone?

Memory verse: Nehemiah 3:1-3

An English adage says that two heads are better than one when they are in agreement. The Bible says that one shall pursue a thousand but two shall pursue ten thousand. When one opens his mind to accommodate more people in the work be it secular or spiritual, the work progresses more. We should therefore embrace the spirit of team work and make for the goodness of all.

In the text above, the Bible tells us that two are better than one because they will have good reward for their labour. They will also help one another in times of difficulty and in helping one another to make progress spiritually and materially. No one will ever be an island, there must be one thing or the other that will make you seek for the assistance of either a brother or a sister.

In the memory verse, we saw how the rebuilding of the city wall of Jerusalem progressed simultaneously in different sections. In the work of God, no one will give it scratch if left alone, it is therefore essential that the work of God be shared. Work is enjoyable when team work is carried out in love and in harmony.

We should therefore try our best to embrace team work, work in love and understading. The work of evangelism is better done and more result oriented when many hands are engaged, preaching in different locations at the same time. Team work is very useful, iot is more result oriented in a short time.

Pray that God will choose people to work in His vineyard.
