YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN!

Memorise: "Jesus answered and salt unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." (John 3:3) 

While we are aspiring for God's showers of blessings to come upon us, we must not relegate the issue of our eternity to the background or else after enjoying material blessings the soul will be lost in hell. If we desire God's blessings, we must be at peace with Him. You cannot like gifts and then hate the Giver. You must love the Giver and then His gifts. The gifts and blessings of God are for those who know Him and love Him and it is only such people that will qualify for a glorious eternity. By loving the giver, we can then enjoy His gifts. Therefore, being at peace with Him starts when we acknowledge our sins and repent of them and then accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour,

While being excited about the prospects of God's showers of blessings, are you born-again? The reason for this question is because your soul is more important than any physical or material blessing. No matter the blessings you enjoy here on earth, at the judgment throne of God they shall count for nothing. That is why you must be reconciled with God so that you can qualify for His eternity. Anyone who is not born again, but angling for God's showers of blessing is operating outside the kingdom and will definitely not see the kingdom of God. Therefore, for you to be able to partake of God's showers of blessing here on earth and still qualify for heaven at last, you must reconcile with God today by becoming bom- again. In short, being born again is a pre-requisite for obtaining God's blessings. 

Therefore, make an assessment of your life and find out if you are truly born-again and living in righteousness according to the will and commandments of God. If not, you must repent and make the necessary amendments. Now is the acceptable time. The unpredictable tomorrow might be too late. The mercy of God only lasts for as long as we are still alive. At death it expires and there will be no more room for repentance. So,
become born-again now that there is still time.
