FINANCIAL & SKILL EMPOWERMENT FUNDING PROGRAM
This project is an initiative of the Youth Counsellors’ Department. It targets
existing businesses owned and managed by any youth of the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement, to help them thrive by providing micro funding, training and business aids.
This funding is enabled by a small pool of funds put together by a few willing
and inspired youths to help businesses of young people.
Before applying, please read the following carefully
CRITERIA FOR APPLICATION
- Applicant must be an active member of the youth department for not less than a year.
- Applicant must have an existing business.
- He / She must have these categories of referees.
- Spiritual Figures (Your Branch Pastor, Your Youth Coordinator and Your House Care Coordinator).
- A Guarantor.
- A client or business associate that can ascertain the existence of your business.
You can only apply by filling the application form but no selection will be made at this point Everyone that applied will undergo assessments and evaluation of businesses but this is the first stage.
Successful applicants from the first stage will undergo trainings and they will submit their business plans using the template provided.
- A panel will interview successful entrepreneurs after evaluating their business plans (Many will be dropped at this stage and final winners will be announced).
PREAMBLE OF FUNDING & SKILL
EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM
Fund size will be determined as per funds requested by the applicant but subject to adjustment or available funds; this will be the sole responsibility of the backer to provide on a case-by-case basis, based on the fund size and business segment, the panel, and the applicant will be informed of the life cycle of funds and rolling modality.
For example, an applicant who gets N200,000 cash or has business assets (e.g rent, supplies) refunds to the fund pool received to renew access to an additional N100,000 (at 1-month cycles).
The life cycle of funds - this is when the funds injected are due for repayment in part or whole and also when new funds are made available for re-access.
Rollover modality - if additional funds will be made available upon repayment; this will be determined by the backer.
BONUS STAGE
The program will also provide funded training programs for youths in the case where few businesses make it to the disbursing stage.
