TEXT:   MATHEW 11:1-6, 1ST CORINTHIANS 10:6-13.

IN THIS MESSAGE THERE SOME BASIC TOOLS WHICH YOU WILL NEED FOR BETTER UNDERSTANDING:
1) THE BIBLE
2) WRITING MATERIALS
3) BOOK/JOTTER

As a youth, if you are truly a child of God should you must know that trials, temptation and persecution is a must for every believers Acts 14:22, 2nd Timothy 3:10-12. As long as you are a true believer, you must pass through this road of persecution which is the road to Heaven at last. Matthew 24:7-8.We should understand that persecution, trials, temptations and afflictions will increase in these last days which are according to the fulfillment of the end time prophecy. We who are the called “Chosen” should not be moved or discouraged by these things as we see them happening but we should hold onto our faith in the Lord. We must not give the devil our enemy the chance by yielding to temptations Ephesians 4:27. The devil is fighting the last battle over your soul and he must be a looser. Satan can come through money, women, friends, pride, and love of the world, do not yield to that temptation instead run, speak out to your pastor /leader, do not hide it. Do not tell the story of Samson, he lost his eyes, power and he died, YOU MUST NOT LOOSE YOUR SALVATION, resist the devil, do not give him chance by going into the sin of doubt, complaining, murmuring, immorality, fornication or lust James 4:7, we should not look back Hebrews 10:34-39.

For better understanding of this message, we shall consider the following sub-headings

THE REASON AND WARNING TO BELIEVERS
Many believers of these last days are one sided Christians. They only believe when things are going well with them, they believe the Lord only to have temporal prosperity, to be healed of their disease, to be blessed or for the Lord to provide for them and at such a time, they confess that the Lord is alive or that Jesus is Lord and then they burst into tongues and praises Exodus 15:1-11.This thing happened to John the Baptist who introduced Jesus to the world John 1:29-34, ‘shortly’ John changed his confession Matthew 11:1-3. No matter the good days, blessings, prosperity and good things you have enjoyed, you must go through trials. The Lord allows trials and persecutions to make His people not to see this world as their final home Exo. 13:17-18. Jesus our Master was tempted Matthew 4:1-11, 2nd Timothy 3:10-12. When you are tempted, stand firm on the word of God. We should be warned that when this necessary event of trials and persecutions come up, we must not murmur, backup or sin but we must see it as trials or inevitable test for those that will make Heaven Matthew 11:1-3. In that persecution, trials and affliction, remember that the Lord is God and also remember the word of God and stand by it and claim it.

OUR EXPECTED RESPONSE AND COUNSEL
As workers in His vineyard, we all should understand that if we have everything we want on earth, we will not like to go to Heaven and we may not see the need to pray and have faith in God that is why God created a vacuum through trials and persecution. The Lord allow these things to make us understand that we are strangers in this world 1st Corinthians15:19, 1st Timothy 6:7, we should have faith in God and pray to make Heaven at last Hebrews 11:11-16. We should know that this is the time of trials for real believers, persecution time, time for test for those who will go to Heaven and no matter the hunger and persecution, we must overcome it and we must not deny the Lord Acts 14:22, 1st Peter 4:16-19; 1:6-9. No matter what you are going through, have faith in God, pray without ceasing, rejoice always and endure. Remember that persecution is not evil but a privilege. In that temptation, God will make a way for escape, resist temptation and the Lord will see you through.
