GUARD WHAT YOU HAVE

TEXT: Matthew 24: 10-12 "And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

There is nothing any genuine believer can boast of outside his salvation. This mean in essence that salvation is the greatest asset of every genuine believer as nothing can be compared to it. Not even all the most precious stones on earth, not even all the dollars, euros and pounds sterling in the world!
It is therefore imperative that every Chosen member should guard his or her salvation till the end. The reason for this advice is in the light of what is happening in the world today as materialism and quest for power have made many people to switch sides with the devil.

People sell their salvation in many ways paying and cheating to pass exams, bribing to have their way, females offering their bodies in exchange for money, getting job or other assistance after confessing Christ, manipulating figures in the office, asking for money before rendering an assistance, taking oath or joining secret societies for political power or promotion. The list is endless!
People in this category should ask Esau, Judas Iscariot, Demas where they are for being careless over what they once had and then begin to redress their steps before they sink Into eternal abyss.
We all should know that this world and everything inside it will soon perish including
the latest automobiles, yachts, silver and gold, palatial buildings, estates, palaces, five star hotels, everything will soon be blown into ashes by extreme fire. And so If you are genuinely saved, do not listen to the misleading and destructive tunes of the 21st century with all the inventions and false glamour.
The only way to guard your salvation is total separation from the world and watching unto prayer till the trumpet sounds. In our memory verse, Esau who could not see the future sold his birthright and when the blessings came, it was too late for him. If you are being offered anything to drop your Bible, stand firm and tell them to perish with their offer.
