TOPIC:- *PREPARING OUR WAY TO JOY*
TEXT:- JOHN 16:22-24,JOSHUA 3:5,MATT. 3:1-3, Amos 4:12

As the great international programme titled:- *FROM SORROW TO JOY*, is fast approaching it is an opportunity for every youth to be blessed. Therefore no youth is expected to be idle from now on proverb 14:23. Remember, every great occasion or event required special preparation.if a president or governor is to visit a place, there will be preparation, how much more about God Almighty. The God of chosen is set to visit the chosen youths in a special way, as youths, we should endeavor to know the preparation required and go ahead to do it because, it is very clear that on Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th , the Lord will restore our joy. So we all must search our lives through this message and get rid of every defilement.
We shall consider the following sub-headings.
   *POINT TO CONSIDER*

POINT 1:- *THE REASON AND PREPARATION REQUIRED*
Our Father in heaven knows the role of joy in believer's life , without joy , we cannot go far or live a joyful Christian Life .Many things might have tampered with your joy which could be health challenges,delay in getting admission, torment from sinful habit, promise and fail , backwardness, hatred , disappointment, demonic oppression, crisis in the family ,all this and many more.From today, come Saturday and Sunday, our sorrow shall be turned into joy . Unfortunately, so many youths attends programme that are not beneficial to them where youths go to drink,smoke,fight and commit sin .Foolish talks place in such gathering, such gathering add no value to their career and the goals which they have set for the year. For you to he blessed and have your sorrows turn to joy, there is need for adequate preparation so that when the Lord will come down on that day, we will be among those that shall be visited Amos 4:12, In preparation , you need to check yourself in and out and deal with any form of unrighteousness and as well ensure nothing is standing between you and your maker Exodus.19:9-18; Isaiah 59:1, also we should take advantage of this message and go all out to invite, our friends and colleagues to this great programme, send invitation through texts, email and other electronic devices and as we do, we will be a blessing to our generation and to our nation. There is nothing to worry about. Remember, only God can turn our sorrow to joy .he is the holy one of israel.He is our creator Isaiah 43:10; psalm 121:1-3, we need great preparation just like the people of old prepared Exodus 19:1-18 and as we do the same our sorrow must turn into joy matt.3:1-8.

*OUR EXPECTED RESPONSE AND EFFECTS*
No matter what we are passing through, it.must be crushed and our sorrows must turn into joy.we must do what will influence the Lord to prove himself in our lives Exodus 14:13-14, Today ,the Lord will give you a sign before then. We must follow the example of the people of old. John 13:15-17. We should should search our lives and make amendment where necessary. We must do away with the things that may want to stand against our visitation. We must ensure purity inside and outside matt.5:8; 2thesalonians 5:23; 1peter 1:14-16.we must also agree with the Lord in holiness Amos 3:3 besides, we should intensify our prayers and as well fast Luke 18:1; 2 Thessalonians 5:17; Esther 4:15-16.we must all go out to invite others to come, we are to invite youths from other churches, sinners, backsliders,the afflicted, those who are facing battles and terrible oppositions in life ,they all shall be healed in Jesus name Matt.12:15, the effect shall be great multitude with great signs and wonders Matt 4:23, Matt 14:14; Matt 15:30. Every sorrow shall be highly turn to joy and as for you today,the Lord will give you a sign Isaiah 7:11-14.

For sinners and backsliders, they should surrender to Jesus and make him their Lord and personal saviour. A Christian is not a sinner and a is not a christian.1john 3:8-9,5:17; deut 22:5, Romans 10:13.
