CARING FOR ONE ANOTHER

TEXT: Psalm 142:4
I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul.

2 Corinthians 11:28
Beside those things that are without, that which cometh upon me daily, the care of all the churches.

Hebrews 13:1
Let brotherly love continue.

EVERYONE should know that our Christian life is expressed by love, whoever that is truly born again will demonstrate it by the love or care he/ she has for others (Romans 9:1-3; Romans 10:1-3; 1Corinthians 13:5). We should begin to care for one another and the new comers in order to establish them because of the love of God.

We all should know how those before lived their Christian life or kept the legacy our Master Jesus Christ laid for us to follow after (Acts 15:36; Acts 2:44-44; John 13:3-5, 13-17). We should know that same people out there are looking for those who will care for them as our Lord Jesus Christ reached out to them during His earthly ministry (Matthew 9:33-36; John 5:7-8; Matthew 25:34-36-40).

So, we should visit our new comers often to see how they do; we should visit our neighbors, brethren and help one another ; and as we do we shall be blessed and make heaven at last; besides, the church will grow and multiply daily (Acts 2:46-47). God is love and we are to demonstrate the God in us everyday of our life. Looking at the current activities now we should look out for those who hardly get their daily need, look out for the beggers in the street, show love to them and make them see the God in you by demonstrating love and care.

Matthew 25:34-40 KJV
Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: [35] For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: [36] Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. [37] Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee ? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? [38] When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee ? [39] Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? [40] And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

We should care for one another, help the needy and if we fail to do so, we shall be considered as wicked (Matthew 25:41-46). So, we should be warned to sit up and begin to care for one another. God bless you.
