BEWARE OF FALSE BRETHREN

Text: Galatians 2:4 “And that of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privately to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus that they might bring us into bondage.”

Every Chosen member must be vigilant because enemies are everywhere trying to lure some people out of the church and eventually wreck their spiritual life. Some agents appear as brethren and even sit among us or hang around some corners giving out leaflets or invitation to other places of error. In some instances, there are people who must find fault in everything in the church. They fan the embers of gossip, murmur against the church authorities in order to create a disaffection among the body of Christ and attack the faith of genuine brethren.
It is therefore necessary to mark such people and avoid them. Any person that continues in sin despite the truth we hear daily in the Chosen and refuses to repent is a false brother or sister.

In our memory verse, Apostle Paul lamented on what he passed through in the hands of hypocrites called false brethren. Let us therefore be wise and avoid their company.

Pray against the spirit of deception.
Pray and ask God to arrest all the false brethren among us
